The house located in the historic center of the city of Almansa in the province of Albacete has a privileged environment with direct views of the Castle of Almansa located in the Cerro del Águila.
The house is designed with a layout layout from the front facade to the rear facade from which the views of the castle are received.
By means of a linear arrangement of the staircase attached to one of the party walls and next to a central core where the elevator of the house is located, a longitudinal distribution scheme is generated that allows us to enhance the idea of passing housing where we can cross it with the visual.
The urban planning regulations of the area do not allow large openings on the main facade, although the rear facade is allowed free composition, so it was decided to design large glazing to the rear which allows wide visual to the castle, and on the front facade the holes are placed in strategic locations to get that visual pass through throughout the house.
The front facade is materialized with the use of limestone and slate cladding, where combining these with the facade openings, it is achieved to give the building a lively image, enhanced with sliding panels that are introduced into the chambers of the facade which open or close depending on the needs of sunlight and lighting of the user.
